Sulphus

Odour Control - emissions from industrial processes & waste water treatment plants

Austria - Process air from dryers for corn derivatives, a total of 65,000 m3/h. The system includes dust removal and air cooling prior to odour abatement by chemical scrubbing. Turn-key job including computerised automation. Multi stage cross flow scrubber system for odour control. The air is cooled and treated before release to atmosphere. Cooling capacity installed is 6 megawatt, the intake air can reach temperatures over 100 ºC.
France - Odour contour calculations indicating proper sizing of a stack to eliminate odour nuisance in the vicinity of a compound feed mill.
Italy - Odour abatement at Pet Food production by chemical scrubbing. Approx. 70,000 m3/h can be handled by the system. The turn-key project included automation to operate with varying air flows.
The Netherlands – 12 Dual stage biofilters and 2 heatexchangers for the removal of odour, mercaptans and traces of H2S from rapeseed production at typical airflow 110.000 m3/h . Full turn key delivery.
The Netherlands - Odour control system featuring a precollector for fat and a scrubber section to remove odours from a meat preprocessing plant. Typical capacity 15,000 m3/h. Full feature supply, including chemical feed system and control panel.

Spain - Chemical scrubber for odour control in the workshop of food producing multinational. Approx. 70,000 m3/h capacity.
United Kingdom – Single stage biofilters made in FRP treating air from the production of pet-food at typical airflow 30.000 m3/h. On site 3 biofilters have been build and 1 chemical scrubber.
United Kingdom- Odour control at feed production plant in a residential area in Glasgow. 35 years of experience in biofiltration technique and remote monitoring of process conditions are a guarantee for a smell free environment.

Italy - Odour abatement by chemical scrubbing at pet food factory of Nestle. Approx. 70,000 m3/h can be handled by the system. The turn-key project included automation to operate with varying air flows.

United Kingdom - Fish feed production plant. Odour abatement by biofiltration. Averaging 135,000 m3/h is preconditioned and purified. The turn-key project included computerised automation and the complete exhaust system.

Spain - Chemical scrubber for odour control in the workshop of Nestle Purina. Approx. 70,000 m3/h capacity.

Spain – Vocus (trickling) system at Gamadecor (Porcelanosa group), a kitchen and bathroom furniture company. Biological treatment of high concentrations of butyl acetate, toluene and other VOC’s in 2 tower. 40.000 m3/h with 100 ton VOC/year.

Rumenia – Vocus (trickling) system at Multipack, a flexographic printing company. Biological treatment of high concentrations of ethanol, ethyl acetate and other VOC’s in 1 tower. 6000 m3/h with 50 ton VOC/year.

Spain – Vocus (trickling) at Ficosa, a car mirror producer. Biological treatment of high concentrations of butyl acatete, toluene ethyl acetate and other VOC’s in pilot plant. 30.000 m3/h with 100 ton VOC/year.

The Netherlands – Vocus (trickling) pilot plant at Straalbedrijf Boxtel, a metal coating company. Biological treatment of high concentrations of xylene, toluene and other VOC’s in pilot plant. 100.000 m3/h with 80 ton VOC/year

Belgium – Vocus (trickling) system at Gallopin, a flexographic printing company. Biological treatment of high concentrations of ethanol, ethyl acetate and other VOC’s in 2 towers. 12.000 m3/h with 50 ton VOC/year.

Spain – Fully remote controlled pilot installation for the removal of toluene, xyleen and ethyl acetate using biotrickling. Operated from our office in Heerenveen. Typical setup: fully containerized for easy transportation and commissioning.

Preconditioning

Denmark - Venturi scrubber with quencher for dust removal from process air from a municipal waste handling station. Prior to the dust removal, the air is cooled from +200 degrees C to 65 degrees C. The dust collection efficiency remains constant over the entire range of the design air flow, 6,400-9,600 m3/h
Belgium - Packed tower scrubber for the removal of 4-Chlorobutyryl chloride.  Typical airflow 10,000 m3/h. Scrubber with explosion proof features.
Germany - OCC plus system for combined cooling and enhanced ammonia removal from 25,000 m3/h of process air from a composting plant for Source Separated Organic Waste. The plastic heat exchanger is integrated in the scrubber system to provide both cooling and surface for the absorption process.
The Netherlands - Ventilation and dust control system featuring a special bag filter design for the handling and sieving of composted organic waste. Capacities 35,000 to 45,000 m3/h. Supply included design of local exhaust points and encapsulation of conveyor belts.

The UK – Biofiltration at a waste handling plant, including cooling by a Heat exchanger and cooling towers. Treatment of 30.000 m3/h odorous air on 110m2.

The Netherlands & UK– Scrubber for conditioning of process air. OEM delivery. Typical airflow 22.000 m3/h. Delivery with full operational support.
USA - A heat exchanger is delivered, available for an airflows up to 100,000 m3/h and 8MW cooling power.
South Africa - Venturi scrubber at Sappi Saicor, a paper mill. Typical air flow 127,500 m3/h. The dust removal efficiency is over 99% at a pressure drop of 2000 Pa.

The Netherlands– Biofilter at vegetable oil refinery of ADM. 86,000 m3/h is preconditioned and purified. The turn-key project included computerised automation.

 

Scotland – Biofilter at fish feed production plant of Skretting (Nutreco). 135,000 m3/h is preconditioned and purified. The turn-key project included computerised automation and the complete exhaust system.
