Partnership to promote VOCUS in Italy
Brescia | 15-02-2010
Pure air solutions enters into a partnership with ST Converting, an Italian company specialised in development and industrial automation for the flexographic field. The cooperation has to help Pure air solutions to put the VOCUS on the Italian market.
The VOCUS can play a significant role in reducing volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) from flexo printing processes. Every company using more than 15 tons of VOC´s has to comply with the European directive 1999/13/CE . The VOCUS is extremely competitive compared with other VOC abatement technology (e.g. non-thermal oxidation, active carbon). It accomplishes high removal efficiencies (80% – 99%) in a consistent, cost-effective and sustainable manner. One Vocus can save up to more than 80.000 EURO per year, which equals 100 households on gas consumption.
André Schoonhoven, Managing Director of Pure air solution said: “It is a strategic cooperation which combines the know-how of both companies in packaging printing industry. Using ST Converting knowledge and sales network, helps us to gain faster access into the enormous Italian Flexographic market.” ST Converting will promote and market the VOCUS as the best technology to reduce solvent emissions, achieving a cost-effective and sustainable solution for the Italian Flexographic Packaging Printing industry.
